L.J. Granered is a writer, musician, and actor based in New York City.

A graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and a native of Nashville, Tennessee, L.J.'s work focuses on unearthing the nuances of the performance of identity in Southern and Queer culture, with an emphasis on deconstructed spirituality and mindfulness of the body. With a disarming clarity, they use the tension of connecting recycled elements of evangelical ideology and contemporary queer narratives to challenge the notion of their disparity.
